This is our most popular turbo kit to suit the 1FZ Toyota Landcruiser, the J-Pipe Manifold and internal gate turbo is about as compact, reliable and simple as it gets when turbocharging a petrol Landcruiser. Supplied with a 5psi wastegate spring, we typically operate this setup up to 15PSI and between 300-350HP+

Turbocharger Information

F.A.Q
Q: Is this everything I need to turbocharge my engine?
A: This kit contains most items needed to correctly turbocharge a 1FZ-FE. There a number of other considerations when turbocharging a petrol engine
-There is no ‘off the shelf’ exhaust and intake pipe to suit. Exhaust and intake pipe will need to be joined up to the Turbo, we use a local exhaust shop for this
-A front mount intercooler is also required.
-Dyno tuning is required using an engine management system such as Haltech ECU
-High flow airbox/snorkel recommended
Q: What about my transmission, does that need an upgrade?
A: For Manual vehicles, we recommend the NPC 1300NM Clutch. For automatic vehicles ‘Extreme’ Valve body upgrade is recommended
Q: What PSI wastegate does it run?
A: It runs a 5 PSI waste gate. To increase the boost pressure, you will have to fit a Boost Controller.
Q: Do I need to run water lines to the turbo?
A: YES. They are water cooled and must have the water lines hooked up. Failing to do so will void all warranty and significantly reduce the service life of your turbocharger.
Q: My vehicle has aftermarket extractors on it. Will I be able to fit this kit to it?
A: The HD J-pipe is designed to bolt to the factory exhaust manifold/headers on a 1FZ-FE. In order to fit this kit you must use the factory headers or source them if you do not have them.
