The limit of the factory engine is an already impressive 350HP, over that it is at risk of bending rods. Showcasing what can be achieved using parts from our best suppliers – This brand new engine has been upgraded by HD Auto with significantly stronger Billet rods and ARP Head studs – to suit those wanting to achieve 400+HP and 1000+NM Torque from Their 1HD-FTE Engine.

Fuel System
Fitted with a brand new Electronic injector pump, High Flow injectors and injector lines. We recommend the electronic injection system over a mechanical conversion – The high pressure system offers more accurate tuning and the highest possible Horsepower result with less soot.
Tuning
The 1HD-FTE can be tuned by using a Unichip Module; HD Auto can supply pre-tuned Unichip modules to suit all of our performance packages.
We have the ability to offer multi map tuning, with hard cut rev limiter and lumpy idle programmed onto certain tunes.

Conversion
Don’t already have an FTE powered vehicle & looking at a conversion?
There are a number of components that need to be sourced for a 1HD-FTE conversion;
-ECU / EDU (Engine Control Unit and Spill Driver)
-Conversion Wiring Loom to suit.
-Sump to suit your chosen vehicle.
-Engine Mounts and brackets to suit your vehicle.
-12MM Fuel feed line is required for the FTE, many vehicles have factory 10mm diameter which is inadequate.
-1HD-FTE Accelerator pedal (Electronic uses a Drive-by-wire, not a throttle cable)
-Intake manifold, accessory Pumps & Bolt on accessories for the engine.
