1KZ Alloy Valve Cover suitable for Toyota Prado KZJ95 KZJ120
Upgrade from the factory plastic valve cover with this cast alloy replacement, designed specifically for the 1KZ-TE engine as fitted to the Toyota Prado. Unlike generic Hilux 1KZ valve covers, this unit is built with the breather port in the correct location for Prado applications – no modifications, no adapters, and no headaches. Just remove the old cover and bolt this one straight on.
Alloy construction offers better heat dissipation than the original plastic cover, and won’t crack or warp under the heat cycles that come with a hard-working diesel engine. A clean, practical upgrade for a workhorse 4WD.

❓ FAQs:
Q: Will this fit a standard 1KZ engine in a non-Prado application, like a Hilux Surf or 80 Series?
A: No – the breather port location on this cover is specific to the Prado. Using it on a non-Prado 1KZ application would require modifying the breather setup. We stock alternative covers for other 1KZ applications if needed.
Q: Do I need a new gasket when fitting this cover?
A: We recommend it. If the existing gasket is in good condition and undamaged, it can be reused – but if you’re already pulling the cover off, a fresh gasket is cheap insurance against an oil leak.
Q: Is any machining or drilling required for fitment?
A: None at all. This is a direct bolt-on replacement – remove the old cover, clean the mating surface, and fit this one in its place.
