An aftermarket 60A alternator for the Toyota 2L and 3L diesels, with the brake booster vacuum pump on the back. On this design the belt drives the alternator directly and the pump hangs off the slip ring end.

Check where your pump sits before you order. If the pump is on the back, at the opposite end to the pulley, this is the right one. If it sits at the pulley end with the belt driving it, you want the ANJ009. Toyota changed the design at each model’s own generation change rather than on one date, so check the alternator rather than the build year. Both pump positions turn up on the LN106, and the front pump ANJ009 is the more common one. Check which end yours is on before you order.

❓ FAQs:

Q: Front or rear, how do I tell?
A: Rear means the pump is on the opposite end to the pulley. Front means it sits at the pulley end.

A: Yes. There is a similar 60A unit with an external regulator and an RP57 plug, so check the plug if you are unsure.

Q: Does it fit the 5L?
A: No. The 5L uses the front pump design, so it takes the ANJ009.
