Manta 3-inch Twin Exhaust System suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series VDJ79 Single Cab 2007-2016 Pre-DPF
Manta 3″ turbo back exhaust in mandrel bent aluminised steel, suitable for the Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series VDJ79 single cab with the 1VD 4.5L V8 common-rail turbo diesel, 2007-2016 pre-DPF models. It replaces the factory exhaust, which goes as small as 1 7/8″ and runs through a baffled muffler, so the V8 is nowhere to be heard. The Manta system runs full 3″ pipe from the turbo face and splits into twin 3″ tailpipes with a dual rear exit, one on the left and one on the right.

⚙️ Why Choose Manta:
- Off the factory floor, the restrictive standard exhaust holds the 1VD V8 to 151kW and 430Nm
- A 3″ exhaust reduces turbo lag, improves peak power and torque, sharpens response and cuts fuel use
- On average we see a 15% gain in power and around 1 to 2L per 100km less fuel used
- Manta make this system in a number of configurations. These are the two we recommend and fit day in, day out
- The full 3″ exhaust is consistently rated as the best performance modification for the V8 LandCruiser, for the sound and for the improvement in driveability
- Manta is Australia’s largest exhaust manufacturer
❓ FAQs:
Q: What is the difference between medium and loud?
A: Medium has a hotdog muffler. Loud is a straight through system with no muffler. Both are full 3″ with no cat.
Q: How is this different from the single exhaust?
A: This is the twin system. It splits into two 3″ tailpipes with a dual rear exit, one on each side, where the single system has one tailpipe.
Q: Will it fit with ARB BP51 shocks?
A: No. The twin system does not clear ARB BP51 remote reservoir shock absorbers. Choose a single 3″ or 4″ system if you run BP51s.
Q: Does this system have a catalytic converter?
A: No. Both options are built with no cat.
