🛠️ Common reasons to replace the injectors in your Holden Colorado RC with the 3.0L TD 4JJ1 engine,

  • Rattling or knocking noise from the engine, especially on a cold start when you first take off, indicating poor injector spray pattern or over-fueling.
  • Excessive smoke, usually white, under load or at idle due to incorrect fuel delivery. Excessive black smoke can also be a sign your injectors are due to be replaced.
  • Poor fuel economy or performance loss.
  • Injector compensation values otherwise known as feedback values measured by a scan tool can indicate an out of spec fuel delivery. They are typically considered within spec at -2.0 or +2.0 however, if they are this high we often recommend replacement at this point in time.
  • The negative value indicates the ECU is reducing fuel to that cylinder, and a positive value indicates the ECU is adding fuel to that cylinder to balance idle.
