Manta 3-inch Aluminised Steel DPF Back Exhaust suitable for Toyota Prado 150 Series GDJ150R
Manta 3″ mandrel bent DPF back exhaust in black coated aluminised steel, suitable for the Toyota Prado 150 Series GDJ150R with the 1GD-FTV 2.8L turbo diesel. It replaces the factory exhaust from the DPF back and does away with the restrictive factory muffler and piping. You get much freer flow and a deep exhaust note with no drone inside the cab.
🚗 Suitable for:
- Toyota Prado 150 Series GDJ150R, 2.8L 1GD-FTV turbo diesel, DPF model
📦 What’s Included:
- 1x Manta 3″ black coated aluminised steel DPF back exhaust system, mandrel bent
- No muffler. The DPF does the job of keeping the noise down
🔧 Fitment Details:
- Follows the same path as the factory exhaust and uses all the same mounting points
- The factory DPF stays in place
- Suits a Prado with the factory turbo or a GTurbo turbocharger upgrade
- Manta rate their systems as LOUD, MEDIUM and QUIET. This system has no muffler, and Manta rate it quiet because the DPF stays in place
- With the DPF still in place the noise stays down, so it suits touring and towing with no drone on the highway
⚙️ Why Choose Manta:
- The factory exhaust runs piping as small as 2.25″, which chokes the motor. 3″ mandrel bent pipe improves low-down torque and throttle response, reduces turbo lag, and improves efficiency and peak power
- Mandrel bends and no muffler keep flow as high as possible, which helps performance and fuel economy
- The aluminised finish is a coating on the mild steel, inside and out. Manta give it a 2 year warranty, but we typically expect an exhaust to last a lot longer. It has the same Manta build quality as the stainless system
- We supply and fit these in house as the best sounding, best fitting option for the Toyota Prado 150 Series. They sound just right and free up the 1GD-FTV
- Manta is Australia’s largest exhaust manufacturer
❓ FAQs:
Q: How loud is it without a muffler?
A: Manta rate it quiet. The factory DPF stays in place and keeps the noise down, so there is no drone on the highway.
Q: Does the DPF stay on the vehicle?
A: Yes. This is a DPF back system, so the factory DPF stays in place.
Q: How long will an aluminised exhaust last?
A: Manta give the aluminised system a 2 year warranty. We typically expect an exhaust to last a lot longer than that. Stainless steel lasts longer again in corrosive environments such as beach driving.
