Here's some of the first results from a standard 1HD-FTE Toyota Land Cruiser fitted with a flex CT26 turbo upgrade. What surprised us was the efficiency of this turbo. Even on a standard injector we saw 258 wheel horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. While these results are fairly exceptional on those standard injectors, the turbo efficiency has absolutely proven itself.
One improvement I'd like to see made moving forward to the turbos when fitted to standard engines is that we drop them out to a 15 to 18 psi wastegate spring. This is going to help run a slightly richer AFR, drop some of the manifold pressure down in the lower tunes, which will make it a really awesome product moving forward. #toyota #landcruiser #1hdfte
