Refunds and Returns Policy
We aim to ensure that our returns process is clear, fair, and administered in a consistent manner. Customers are encouraged to read this policy carefully before requesting a return.
TLDR – The Short Version
- Get approval first. All returns must be authorised before sending – contact us with your order number, the item, and the reason.
- Two types of return: change of mind, and faulty/warranty. Different rules apply to each.
- Change of mind: return within 30 days, unused, uninstalled, in original condition and packaging, and resalable as new.
- Not returnable for change of mind: opened gasket or seal kits, any electrical items (including fuel injectors), anything fitted/used, anything scratched or damaged, and genuine (OEM) parts.
- Restocking fee: usually 10%, up to 20% depending on condition. May be waived for store credit (unless repackaging or excessive handling is needed).
- Return postage is on you. You’re responsible for the item until we receive it – use tracked shipping and keep your tracking number.
- Faulty or warranty: contact us first (photos help). Condition/packaging rules and the change-of-mind exclusions don’t apply, a prepaid label may be provided, and time limits are more flexible.
- Warranty does not cover labour for removing, refitting, or returning parts.
- Your Australian Consumer Law rights are unaffected – nothing here limits them.
The full details are below.
This policy sets out two separate return pathways:
- Change-of-mind returns – where you no longer want an item that you previously purchased.
- Faulty item or warranty inspection returns – where an item is believed to be faulty or defective.
Different conditions apply to each, so please make sure you are reading the section that applies to your situation.

Once your return is authorised, please send it to:

ATT: Returns – Your Order Number
Please include the reason for return inside the package so it can be processed appropriately.
Change-of-Mind Returns
If you have changed your mind about a non-faulty item, it may be returned only if all of the following conditions are met:
- The item is returned within 30 days of the shipment date
- The item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition
- All tags, labels, accessories, and original packaging are included and in new condition.
- The item is in a condition suitable for resale as new
Please remember: We are accepting this return on the basis that it can be resold. Consider whether or not you would be happy to be receiving the item in the condition you are returning it in to us as a new buyer of it.
Items Excluded from Change-of-Mind Returns
For safety, quality, and resale-integrity reasons, the following items are not eligible for a change-of-mind return, refund, or exchange:
- Opened gasket or seal kits
- Any electrical items, which includes diesel and petrol fuel injectors
- Any item that has been fitted, used, or operated
- Any item that is scratched, damaged, or otherwise not in resalable condition
- Genuine parts (unfortunately, due to the significant amount of counterfeit genuine parts out there, we can no longer accept a return on a genuine supplied part)
- Any item that was purchased on sale, subject to our discretion.
- Strictly no items sold on clearance will be authorised for a change of mind return.
Genuine part: A “genuine part” means any part supplied in, or bearing the official branding, labelling, or packaging of, a vehicle’s original equipment manufacturer (OEM) — for example Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, or another vehicle manufacturer. This includes parts marked with the manufacturer’s name, logo, or part number, as distinct from aftermarket or reproduction parts.
These exclusions apply to change-of-mind returns only. They do not affect your rights in relation to faulty goods (see below) or your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Restocking Fee
Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund amount. This fee covers inspection, handling, and repackaging costs. The fee is usually 10%, but may be up to 20% depending on the condition of the item returned.
The restocking fee may be waived where the return is processed as store credit, unless the item is subject to any repackaging or excessive handling costs.
Shipping Costs for Change-of-Mind Returns
- All return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.
- Original shipping charges, including freight protection charges, are non-refundable.
- We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until received by us.
Responsibility for Items in Transit
For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the safe return of the item to us, including any loss of or damage to the item during its return. We are not liable for any loss or damage that occurs in the transition or transfer of the item from the customer back to the business, and the item remains the customer’s responsibility until it is received by us.
We highly recommend that customers use a tracked shipping service and keep a record of their return item’s tracking number.
We highly recommend that customers take photographic evidence of the product in its condition when it leaves their possession, in the event they need to make any claims against the courier who delivered it to us. We will not be responsible for courier damage upon return.
Faulty Item or Warranty Inspection Returns
If an item is believed to be faulty or defective, please contact us before returning it. To help us assess the item, we may request photographs of the fault.
Where an item is being returned for a fault or warranty inspection:
- The packaging and condition requirements that apply to change-of-mind returns do not apply.
- The exclusions listed above for change-of-mind returns do not apply – faulty electrical items, injectors, and genuine parts may still be returned for assessment.
- Where appropriate, a pre-paid shipping label can be emailed to you to cover the return cost of a faulty item.
- Faulty items may be assessed separately and may be returned outside the usual return timeframes.
Warranty
Warranty covers the assessment, repair, or replacement of a faulty part as applicable. Warranty does not cover labour costs associated with the removal, refit, or return of parts.
Refund Processing Times
Once your return has been received and assessed, approved refunds may take up to seven (7) days to be processed. Please note that after we have processed a refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional time before the funds appear in your account.
We will strive to process your refund via your original payment method. In the event that this is not possible, we may contact you for your BSB, account number, and account name so that we can process a direct EFT payment to you.
Unacceptable Returns
Any item that does not meet the conditions of the applicable return pathway will be treated as an unacceptable return.
- Unacceptable returns may be returned to the customer at their expense.
- No refund or exchange will be issued for items that are not suitable for resale as new.
- Where return freight is not paid, the item must be collected within 30 days of notification. If collection is not arranged within that period, we reserve the right to dispose of or destroy the item.
Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. This returns policy applies in addition to those rights and does not limit them.
