How does the process work?ย
You will either send your ECU in to us, or bring it in store and we will modify the ECU data to remove the immobiliser so that the ECU can run in any vehicle regardless of immobiliser.
Why do I need to do this?ย
From factory to prevent theft the factory ECU is fitted with an immobiliser which syncs with the key to disable the motor from running unless paired. This data is stored inside the engines ECU / ECM and will prevent you from being able to run your engine in another vehicle with the factory ECU.
What else do we do with the ECU?
If you require specific emissions modifications to suit the conversion you are doing, we can modify EGR error codes or DTC codes to prevent them from showing as faults. There is a number of other features we offer such as MAF codes (if you are running a gated turbo) which we will modify to ensure you have a perfectly running engine conversion.

When doing the 4JJ1 engine conversion into the Nissan Patrol GU or GQ, you will find that the stock turbo does not fit. We stock and carry a 44mm gated turbocharger that will allow for direct fitment onto the stock manifold as well as offering an unrivalled performance increase. when combined with ECU tuning. We also offer ECU Remapping services in house carried out on our Mainline Dynamometer. When paired with a set of the HD Automotive +30 Genuine fuel injectors to suit the 4JJ1 engine, a BRC heavy duty clutch kit, intercooler and exhaust system, your 4JJ1 will be producing well above 250HP at the rear wheels.
