Brand new valve adjusting shims in every size from 2.50mm to 3.30mm, in 0.05mm steps. Each valve can need a different shim, so pick the sizes you need and set a quantity for each one. You can add a full head’s worth in one go.

These are the shims that sit on top of the bucket in Toyota’s shim-over-bucket diesels. When a valve clearance is out of spec, you swap its shim for a thicker or thinner one to bring it back in.

Please note valve shims are a non-returnable, no change-of-mind item. It’s worth double-checking your measurements and sizes before you order.

🔧 How to Pick Your Sizes:

• Measure each valve clearance with the engine cold and write them all down
• Remove the shim from any valve that is out of spec and measure its thickness with a micrometer
• New shim = old shim thickness + (measured clearance – specified clearance). Choose the closest size
• Check the clearance specs for your engine in the workshop manual
• You don’t need to leave the car off the road while you wait. Measure, refit the rocker cover, keep driving, and swap the shims when your order arrives

❓ FAQs:
Q: Do I need the same size for every valve?
A: Usually not. Each valve wears differently, so most jobs need a mix of sizes. Set a quantity against each size you need.

Q: Do I need a special tool?
A: A valve clearance adjusting tool makes it easier to hold the bucket down while you swap the shim.

Q: Should I replace the rocker cover gasket at the same time?
A: It’s a good idea. The cover comes off to measure and again to fit the shims.

Q: Do you sell a full set of sizes?
