This Basco unit is an aftermarket starter motor, it is a quality standard replacement part that will function and work as intended for a fraction of the genuine price. If you are constantly 4wding and shortening the life of starter motors by submerging them in mud, it makes a lot of sense to fit a cost effective aftermarket part.

Notes on fitment:
This is the later model, revised solenoid version. Some Early 1KD (Pre 06/2008) had a different shape electrical connector, and may need the connector changed to work.

  • N70 Hilux (KUN26R) 3.0L Diesel 2005-2015
  • Toyota Prado KDJ120 KDJ150 1KD-FTV 3.0L TD 2005-2015
