For the first time ever, enthusiasts can now unlock the power of DIY Common-rail Diesel Tuning with the new ECU=SHOP Pro Boost. Just like other ECU=Shop systems it is a powerful module that is used by leading workshops around the globe to increase power, torque and efficiency on the end users vehicle. It offers 3 Tune Select, Programmable Hard Cut Limiter, an App Link to your mobile phone and is also completely removable by unplugging the ECU and installing the bridge plug.

⚡What is the ECU Shop Pro Boost?
The Pro Boost works in conjunction with your factory ECU and allows real time tuning of Injector duration, Common rail fuel pressure, boost pressure, boost cut, and throttle response. It can be installed with all our 1GD performance parts and packages like Turbo, Intercooler and injector upgrades.
We offer two package choices:
- DIY Package
Ideal for the confident DIY installer or Performance Workshop with tuning experience. This base package includes the Pro Boost module as well as a Tuning Cable and access to the Pro Boost Tuning Software.
- Pro Boost with Tuning Support
If you are upgrading with a performance package through HD Auto this is the option for you. We include assistance setting up parameters to match your upgrades, and 1 hour of live tuning support to get you up and running.
For both packages, you’ll require a PC to install and use the Pro Boost Software

🛠️ Fitment Details:
- The N80 Pro Boost is available with a wire-in or a plug-in harness and comes with a wiring diagram. We typically use the wire-in option because it allows for a neater install by simply making connections under dash at the ECU. The plug-in loom needs to be ran through the firewall and connected to injectors and sensors.
⚙️ How does this compare to an ECU Remap?
- Faster to tune as it can be live tuned as opposed to writing ECU files repeatedly until a desirable result has been achieved.
- Unlocks the limits of the engine/ECU with no hidden ECU limiters, often these units benchmark what is capable for the factory ECU, but is much harder to achieve with a factory ECU.
- Multiple tune options for power, towing, economy with extra functions such as programmable hard cut limiter.
- It allows you to open the door to tuning, without the risk of ‘bricking’ a factory ECU – There is no digital footprint and it does not edit data inside the ECU.

Q: Can this alter factory ECU functions?
A: No, the Pro Boost does not alter factory ECU functions such as EGR, throttle body or DPF. A separate ECU recalibration is required to modify these functions.
