Manta Exhaust System suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 76 Series VDJ76 DPF Model October 2016+
Manta 3″ exhaust system, suitable for the Toyota LandCruiser 76 Series VDJ76 wagon with the 1VD 4.5L V8 common-rail turbo diesel, DPF model from October 2016. The factory exhaust runs piping as small as 1 7/8″ through a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and a baffled muffler, so the sound of the V8 is nowhere to be heard. The Manta system runs full 3″ pipe to the tail from either the turbo face or the DPF. You can keep the note close to factory, go for an unmuffled V8 bark, or pick a medium in between.

⚙️ Why Choose Manta:
- Replacing the factory exhaust with a 3″ system reduces turbo lag, improves peak power and torque, sharpens response and reduces fuel consumption
- A full 3″ exhaust is rated as the best performance modification for the V8 LandCruiser, for the sound and for the improvement in driveability
- Manta is Australia’s largest exhaust manufacturer
❓ FAQs:
Q: Should I choose DPF back or turbo back?
A: DPF back is similar to a cat-back system on a petrol vehicle. It replaces the exhaust from the DPF to the tail and keeps the factory DPF. Turbo back replaces the entire factory exhaust, including the DPF, and is for off road or race use only.
Q: Is a tune needed?
A: For the turbo back system, yes. It removes the DPF, so the ECU must be recalibrated, and it is for off road or race use only. The DPF back system keeps the factory DPF.
Q: Which noise level should I choose?
A: On the turbo back system, quiet has a rear muffler, medium has a hotdog, and loud has no muffler or hotdog. The DPF back system is quiet.
