Fatz ZD30 Airbox Plumbing Kit suitable for Nissan Patrol GU
This kit plumbs a Fatz Built 4″ GU airbox to the turbo on a ZD30, in either CRD (common rail) or Di form. The pipe is CNC bent and sized so the MAF sensor mounts straight into it, which keeps the airflow reading accurate. Choose your engine and your turbo snout size and the kit comes with the matching couplings.
Fatz Fabrication builds every kit in Queensland and finishes the pipe in textured black powder coat.
🚗 Suitable for:
- Nissan Patrol GU wagon and ute with the ZD30 CRD or ZD30 Di engine
- Fitted with a Fatz Built 4″ GU airbox
📦 What’s Included:
- 4″ to 3″ reducing 90 degree silicone bend
- 3″ alloy pipe with a -10 fitting welded in, made to suit either the CRD or the Di MAF sensor
- Reducing 90 degree silicone bend sized for your turbo snout (2″, 2.5″ or 3″)
- -10 90 degree push lock fitting and 5/8″ hose for the PCV
- Laser cut bracket to relocate the boost control solenoid
- All hose clamps
🛠️ Fitment Details:
- Plumbs from the 4″ outlet of the Fatz Built GU airbox. It won’t fit the factory airbox.
- The MAF sensor fits directly into the pipe, so no separate MAF housing is needed.
- Pick the turbo snout size you have fitted: 2″ is the factory snout, 2.5″ and 3″ are aftermarket snouts.
- Series 4 ZD30 Di engines use the CRD style MAF sensor and need the CRD kit.
⚙️ Why Choose This:
- The pipe is sized for the MAF sensor, so the engine keeps reading the airflow correctly.
- The PCV hose plumbs back into the intake with push lock fittings.
- The solenoid bracket is included, so there’s nothing extra to make up for the install.

❓ FAQs:
Q: How do I tell if I need the CRD or the Di kit?
A: Look at the MAF sensor. A rectangle slot means you need the CRD kit, and a round sensor means the Di kit. As a guide, the CRD has a black engine cover and the Di has a silver one, but Series 4 Di engines have the rectangle sensor and need the CRD kit.
Q: Which turbo snout size do I have?
A: The factory ZD30 turbo has a 2″ snout. If your turbo has been upgraded, measure the snout. It will usually be 2.5″ or 3″.
Q: Will this fit my factory airbox?
A: No. These kits are made for the outlet on the Fatz Built 4″ GU airbox.
