Garrett PowerMax turbocharger upgrade suitable for the 2.8L Duramax diesel in the Holden Colorado RG and Holden Colorado 7. It is a direct drop-in stage 1 upgrade that keeps the OEM installation, flows up to 20% more than the OEM turbo and supports up to 160kW (215 BHP). The variable turbine geometry is built to factory specification and is controlled by the included module. The compressor wheel is forged, fully machined and lightweight.

• 1x Garrett PowerMax turbocharger (part number 892179-5001S) with control module

🔧 Fitment Details:

• Direct drop-in replacement. Outline interchangeable with the factory turbo for a perfect fit
• Interchangeable with OE part numbers 814067-0001 to 814067-0005
• We recommend a turbo fitting kit and new gaskets
• Maximum allowable turbo speed is 213,000rpm. Garrett recommend fitting a speed sensor to protect the turbo from overspeed

Q: Is this the same as the standard Garrett replacement turbo?
A: No. The standard replacement is Garrett part number 901994-5001S. This PowerMax is the upgrade, part number 892179-5001S, with up to 20% more flow.
