When would I need a Speedi Sleeve (also known as a crank repair sleeve)?
- A Speedi Sleeve is required when there is damage (such as a groove run into it) to the sealing area on the crankshaft where the rear main sits. It creates an extremely thin new surface for the seal to sit on. Speedi Sleeves are supplied with a tool to fit it in place, and has a tear away function once fitted. If you are having consistent rear main seal leaks, we would recommend purchasing one.
