This is the genuine washer that seals the sump drain plug. It is a crush washer, so it flattens when the plug is tightened and should not be reused. Fit a new one every time you drop the oil. This kit has 10 of them, so if you do your own servicing, you have a washer ready for the next ten oil changes. It costs less than buying ten singles.

A: This washer is 12mm, for the engine sump plug on the vehicles listed above. Older engines and most gearbox, transfer and diff plugs use the 18mm washer, listed separately. Measure your plug or send us your VIN.

Q: Can I reuse my old washer?
A: We don’t recommend it. It crushes to seal, and a used one is more likely to weep oil.
