Why the stock valve isn’t up to the task
The stock valve body’s springs and check balls were designed for comfort above all else and can’t maintain the hydraulic pressure needed to hold gear under increased load. The result is clutch-pack slip, heat build-up, and accelerated wear.
This kit is a simple upgrading that replaces those internal components with heavy duty equivalents, enabling firm, positive gear engagement even when the engine is making serious power.

How to install
| 1 | Drop the sump pan. Drain the fluid, remove the pan, transmission stays in the car. |
| 2 | Remove the valve body. Unbolted from inside the sump, no specialist tools needed. |
| 3 | Swap the springs and check balls. Modify your valve body following the supplied instructions. |
| 4 | Reinstall and refill. Refit the valve body, new sump gasket, refill with fresh ATF. Done. |
