This kit contains all the gaskets needed to refit the intake on your 1KD-FTV Hilux and Prado when removing intake manifold to clean EGR crud build up.

1KD Intake cleaning:

• 1KD Engines with EGR are known for clogging up the intake manifold with EGR soot, reducing performance and efficiency.
• Intake cleaning is recommended to be completed before replacing injectors, doing any performance upgrades on your Hilux, or at every major service interval.
• The only way to clean the intake properly is by physically removing it and scrubbing out the build up. ‘Spray through’ Intake cleaning is not effective.

Notes:

• These gaskets are also required when removing the intake manifold to access .
• Injector lines need to be removed for access, so this is a good time to replace them if aged.
