Wastegated Turbo Boost Controller Kit suitable for Toyota Hilux N70 1KD

This kit adds a manual boost controller to a Toyota Hilux N70 1KD-FTV that runs an aftermarket wastegated turbo. It has a Turbosmart Boost Tee in black (TS-0101-1102), 1.5m of 4mm silicone vacuum hose and 4 cable ties. The Boost Tee goes in the boost reference line to the wastegate actuator and bleeds off the signal, so the turbo can make more boost than the wastegate spring allows.

Please note: this kit is for 1KD-FTV engines fitted with an aftermarket wastegate style turbo. It does not work with the factory VNT turbo.

Q: Will it work with my factory turbo?
A: No. The factory 1KD-FTV turbo is a VNT turbo with no wastegate. This kit is for engines converted to a wastegated turbo.

Q: Will it work with an internal wastegate?
A: Yes. The Boost Tee suits internal and external wastegates, as long as the actuator is boost-referenced.
