Glow plugs are a commonly replaced item on a 1HZ engine. They are imperative to ensuring your 1HZ engine can start in cool conditions such as the morning. They work by being powered up by an electrical current causing the element tip to glow and heat up the engine’s cylinder prior to starting.
Signs that you need to replace your glow plugs are,
