The ECU=SHOP Boost Speed Pro is a plug-in throttle controller suitable for the Toyota Hilux N70. It sits between your accelerator pedal and its plug and changes how fast the engine answers your foot. You get 14 standard throttle modes, 3 custom modes you can tune yourself, and Ramble mode for a lumpy idle at the press of a button. This is the TY1 model, which uses the Toyota Hilux N70 pedal plug.
If you came here looking for the Boost Speed Next TY1, ECU=SHOP no longer makes it. The Boost Speed Pro replaces it and does everything the Next did, plus the custom throttle maps.
🚗 Suitable for:
- Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26 and KUN16 with the 1KD-FTV 3.0L turbo diesel, 2005-2015 (Model Number: TY1)
Driving a different TY1 vehicle? The same TY1 unit also suits the Toyota Prado 120 Series (KDJ120) and very early Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series V8s from 2007-2009. Toyota Hilux N80 owners need the TY3 model instead.

🔧 Fitment Details:
- Plug and play. Unplug the accelerator pedal, plug the harness in between, and you’re done. No cutting or splicing.
- You can check your plug before you order without any tools. Unplug the accelerator pedal, take a photo of the plug on your phone, and compare it to the pedal plug chart in the photos.
- Bluetooth connects to the ECU=SHOP app on your phone for changing modes and building the custom maps.
- It changes throttle response only. It does not add power or change fuelling. For more power on a 1KD-FTV you need a tune.
