Braided Brake Lines suitable for 80 Series Landcruiser
Braided brake lines for the 105 Landcruiser. These are an upgrade to the original fitted units with a stainless steel braid to be more durable and handle greater pressures.
When upgrading to a PDI Dual diaphragm brake booster – line pressure is increased significantly as well as braking performance. We recommend upgrading to the braided brake lines which will not suffer from ‘bulge’ as the factory rubber lines do.
Braided Lines
Should installed with an upgraded brake booster as line pressure will be increased and the standard lines may be compromised if still original. This is both due to age and the potential for damage as they are fitted to a 4WD. Installing braided lines will also give a better result as factory flexible lines bulge and reduce effective application of the pedal.
Braking Upgrades
On the 80 series Landcruiser, Braking upgrades should be done in conjunction with tuning & turbo upgrades. We have found the biggest improvement can be achieved with PDI Brake Boosters and braided brake lines.
