A complete genuine throttle body assembly suitable for the late model Toyota LandCruiser 100 Series HDJ100 and HDJ101K with the 1HD-FTE 4.2L turbo diesel. These are a common failure point on the 2002 on HDJ100. The plugs and pins break inside the throttle body motor, and because the motor is part of the assembly, the whole throttle body has to be replaced. When one fails it usually brings up an engine code.

Please note: this throttle body only suits the 2002 on HDJ100 and HDJ101K with the 5-speed automatic or 5-speed manual. It does not suit the 1998-2002 HDJ100 or the Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series HDJ78 and HDJ79.

• Check your build date and gearbox before ordering. Toyota changed from the 4-speed to the 5-speed automatic with the update released in October 2002, so a 2002 HDJ100 can have either. If yours has the 4-speed auto, this throttle body won’t fit.
