Our High Mount Kit features a PPRC 55MM Turbo which was selected for excellent response in an F55 frame while still being capable of performing well over 300HP+ at the wheels when fitted with high flow injectors.

🛠️ Fitment Details:
- Converting to a High Mount Turbo Kit requires custom piping for intake and intercooler piping.
- Custom Dump Pipe required to join up with your 3″ Exhaust, A Blank Flange is supplied for this.
- Water lines are not required to the turbocharger.

Q: What’s the advantage of a wastegated Turbo?
A: Utilising a wastegated turbo removes a lot of variables when it comes to tuning, as turbo boost pressure is controlled by the wastegate and fueling only. This offers a premium when it comes to reliability as there is significantly less to go wrong inside the turbocharger.
Q: Should I go for a 44mm or 55mm Turbocharger?
A: For most people, we recommend the 44mm turbocharger. This is going to offer up to 250HP and 600nNM of torque, which is plenty enough to break that poor R151F transmission. For those looking to send it harder, the F55 turbocharger option is good for those who have an endless supply of R151 transmissions or those running a built automatic transmission in their Hilux.
Q: Should I go high mount or low mount?
A: This is purely bling factor. We also offer this kit in a low mount option to suit the stock turbo, but you’ve just upgraded your turbo! What’s the point of keeping it down out of the way? Show it off in a big way with this high mount turbo kit.
