• Timing Belt (Gates)
• Spring Tensioner Pulley (MRK Bearings)
•  Cam, Crank and Injection Pump Seal (Viton)
• Water Pump (Basco)
• Drive belt Pulley (Basco)
• Drive belts (Gates)

🔧Fitment Notes:

• This kit does not suit Prado models – The belt tensioner is different.

Estimated fitting time 

Front engine service kits on 1KD-FTV engines should be replaced every 5 years or 150,000km to prevent timing belt failure and water pump wear, which can lead to serious engine damage and costly repairs if neglected.

Signs that you need to replace or use a front engine service kit, 

• Visible cracks, fraying or wear on the timing belt
• Squealing or wining noises from the front of the engine may indicate worn out pulleys or tensioners
• coolant leaks from around the water pump
• Engine overheating
• Timing belt is over 5 years old or scheduled maintenance
