Manta HDJ100 1HD-FTE Stainless Exhaust System
The Manta 100 series Stainless exhaust has impressive fit & finish – They are a fantastic looking exhaust & these are our preferred option to fit in-house before Dyno tuning.
This Exhaust will suit a factory turbo and also directly bolt up to all of our GTurbo and UFI Turbocharger upgrades from HD Auto.
In terms of sound level Manta rate their systems in ‘LOUD’ ‘MEDIUM’ and ‘QUIET’
We find for the HDJ100, being factory turbocharged and sound insulated from factory. You can always opt for a louder option, in fact the LOUD option unlocks the famous sound of a 1HD-FTE like it should. But we wouldn’t consider to be at all annoying to drive daily or have a drone, considering it has a resonator and a turbocharger.

The HDJ100 Landcruiser wagon, powered by the 1HD-FTE intercooled 4.2L turbo diesel, can easily be enhanced through the fitment of a high-flow Manta 3″ mandrel-bent exhaust system.
The restrictive nature of the standard exhaust system, which runs as small as 2” piping, effectively chokes the motor. By replacing the standard exhaust with a 3” mandrel-bent pipe there are numerous benefits realised; including improved low-down torque and responsiveness, reduced turbo lag, reduced fuel consumption, and improved peak power.
The entire system is designed for easy fitment, following the same path as the standard exhaust system, and using all the same mounting points.
