- 1x Manta 3″ stainless steel turbo back exhaust system, full length and mandrel bent, with a 3″ dump pipe that replaces the DPF
- Choose your noise level: medium or loud
🔧 Fitment Details:
- Designed for easy fitment. It follows the same path as the factory exhaust and uses all the same mounting points
- Exits at the back of the vehicle, pointing down
- This system removes the DPF. Tuning is required for fitment, and it is for off road use only
- Manta rate their systems as LOUD, MEDIUM and QUIET. This one is available in medium and loud
⚙️ Why Choose Manta:
- The factory exhaust runs piping as small as 2.25″, which chokes the engine. Replacing it with 3″ mandrel bent pipe improves low-down torque and throttle response, reduces turbo lag, and improves efficiency and peak power
- Stainless is the premium option from Manta. It fits and looks great, and lasts much longer in corrosive environments such as beach driving
- One of the most popular systems Manta make for the V8 70 Series LandCruiser
- On our own 79 Series we chose the medium. It had enough grunt to sound impressive, with no highway drone. The loud option is exactly that. It sounds amazing, but expect to hear it on the highway
- Manta is Australia’s largest exhaust manufacturer
❓ FAQs:
Q: Should I choose medium or loud?
A: We run the medium on our own 79 Series. It sounds impressive and has no highway drone. The loud is properly loud and sounds amazing, but you will hear it on the highway.
Q: Is a tune needed?
A: Yes. This system removes the DPF, so tuning is required for fitment. It is for off road use only.
Q: Does it suit both single cab and dual cab?
A: Yes. It is suitable for the 2016-onwards DPF model VDJ79 in both single cab and dual cab.
Q: What is the difference between aluminised and stainless steel?
A: Aluminised is mild steel coated inside and out, and Manta give it a 2 year warranty. Stainless is Manta’s premium option and lasts much longer in corrosive environments such as beach driving. There is a slight difference in sound between the two on the VDJ.
