The rear main oil seal in the LN106 Toyota Hilux (and other Toyota vehicles with the 2L, 3L and 5L engine) are notorious for leaking. They aren’t designed any worse than any other rear main oil seal, but because of how much crank case pressure these engines have, they can become a weak point and start leaking.
