ARP 2000 Head Studs suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 1FZ-FE
These head stud kits feature premium grade ARP 2000 material (not 8740 material like our previous kits) that is rated at 220000 psi tensile strength.
They are heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining and are rated at a whopping 220000 psi.
These pro series kits are available with a 12-point nut, and all kits come complete with hardened parallel washers for an even load distribution and accurate torque readings.
For reference the previous 8740 material has a 190,000 psi rating
All kits come with torque specifications & ARP assembly lube.

Notes on Install:
When winding the studs in on 1FZ, you will notice that they can go too far down into the block, leaving not enough thread for the nut. With the head on, we recommend putting the nut on flush with the top of the stud and then wind it in to correct height before starting torque sequence. That way you get full thread engagement on the nut, plus there’s plenty of thread length in the block.
