Exedy achieve this heavy duty rating by tailoring their standard cover to improve clamp load, which allows the transmission of increased engine torque with smooth take off drivability.

🛠️ Fitment Details:

• Direct replacement clutch for factory 275mm flywheel
• 21 Spline 1HZ clutch disc, will not fit 14 spline 1HD engine/transmission.
• Your factory flywheel requires machining for a fresh surface, as with any replacement clutch.

Q: What kind of build is this clutch good for?
A:  This kit is suitable for 90% of HZJ80 owners. Stock injector pump, non intercooled or intercooled, with HD Auto, DTS or Denco Turbo kit, up to 33″ diameter tyre, towing up to 2.5tonne. We have a guide to 1HZ clutches here.

Q: What kind of power does a 1HZ make?
A: A stock 1HZ produces approximately 70HP and 240nm on our Mainline dyno at the rear wheels. When fitted with one of our HD Auto turbo kits, we can increase this HP and torque number to 130HP and 350-400nm at the wheels. There is a full performance guide here.
