Note: Models prior to 01/1992 have a smaller bearing retainer on the front of the transmission. A new bearing retainer will be required to swap this over as your old one will not suit. The part number is 33131-60070 and is available here.

Converted in our factory and designed for HZJ80 Series Landcruisers, this gearbox promises a perfect fit. This is a common upgrade when replacing the older H150 or H151 transmission that the 80 Series Landcruiser was released with. Most of these vehicles are on the verge of having 500,000 km or more on them; not only do you benefit from a brand new gearbox but this is a NON-EXCHANGE service. We do not need your old transmission. This is because what we are supplying is a BRAND NEW component – not rebuilt or overhauled. This is important to us as it 100% retains the ‘Genuine’ Toyota or Aisan quality in your driveline, giving you the confidence to upgrade.
On 33″ or 35″ tyres and stock gear ratios, this will drop your RPM at 100KM per hour to 1900-2000RPM (approx). Where as previously, it would have sat around 2500-2600RPM.
