HD Auto Airbox suitable for HDJ70 HZJ70 Series Toyota Landcruiser
The ultimate airbox upgrade suitable for your HDJ79, HDJ78 or HZJ70 Series Toyota Landcruiser Ute or Troop Carrier. As we continually push these vehicle to their limits we are finding the need for high performing products. This airbox is suitable up to 400HP of power, however is required beyond 200HP or 20psi of boost as we have found the stock airbox becomes restrictive at this power level. Or simply fit it as it looks great!
Suitable for:
- Toyota Landcruiser HDJ79 / HDJ78 / HDJ76 1HD-FTE Engine – With upgraded CT26-Based turbocharger
- Toyota Landcruiser HZJ79 / HZJ78 / HZJ75 – 1HZ with CT26-Based turbo kit.
Features:
- Water collection sump and one way duck bill valve to allow water to drain out effectively and automatically
- CNC Laser Cut parts including the brackets, 10mm laser etched acrylic lid ensuring perfect fitment
- 9″ Tapered high flow paper air filter suitable for on and off-road conditions
- Clear lid for quick visual inspection of filter condition
- 2mm Stainless steel clamping flange on the lid to ensure even sealing for no leaks
- 4″ Inlet and outlet to give your engine maximum airflow available
- AN10 Push-lock breather and hose for crank-case vent
- Direct fit with no need to relocate any parts
HDJ79/78/76 Fitment details:
- This airbox is designed to suit aftermarket CT26-Based turbocharger upgrades such as Gturbo, UFI, Arashi, etc with a larger, straight inlet.
- The fitting kit supplied will not suit the factory CT20B turbocharger on a HDJ70 Series. It does not suit the factory turbocharger. We do not recommend buying it for the factory turbocharger.
HZJ79/78/75 Series Fitment Details:
- May not fit Denco, DTS, Safari and other older style 1HZ turbo kits that do not use a CT26 Turbocharger. Design of this Airbox is based on our HD Auto Turbo kit, utilising a CT26 Turbocharger and factory 1HD Manifold position. If you have one of these turbo kits we recommend upgrading, or looking carefully at the photographs and doing some research before placing an order.
Fitment Details:
- 4″ Inlet/Outlet – Suitable for Safari Armax or 4″ Stainless Steel Snorkel
- Please specify the turbocharger used on your vehicle so that the correct silicone adapters can be supplied.
- The silicone is supplied at full length so that it can be trimmed down where needed. Some trimming of the silicone may be required to fit.
