1VD Intake cleaning:
- 1VD Engines are known for clogging up the intake manifold with EGR soot, reducing performance and efficiency.
- Intake cleaning is recommended to be completed before replacing injectors, doing any performance work on your Landcruiser, or at every major service interval.
- The only way to clean the intake properly is by physically removing it and scrubbing out the build up. ‘Spray through’ Intake cleaning is not effective.
Notes:
- These gaskets are also required when removing the manifold to access your 1VD starter motor.
