📦 What’s in the Kit,
- Intercooler with 600x300x76mm core (around 20% larger than competitors designs)
- Fully cast alloy end tanks with recesses to allow it to sit back and maintain the factory look, without chopping up your grill.
- 3” Outlets into the engine bay
- 2.5” Stainless piping
- Thick 5 ply silicon
- Mild steel brackets – zinc plated and then painted black – no stainless brackets which are prone to fatigue crack and cause rusting of body panels due to anode/cathode reaction.
- High torque hose clamps
- Screw in oil drain on bottom of intercooler.

🤔 Why fit a front mount intercooler to your Toyota Hilux?
- From factory, the Toyota Hilux N70 KUN26 and KUN16 (4X2) comes fitted with a top mounted intercooler. This factory intercooler is very small, and suffers from severe heat soak by sitting in the engine bay.
- The benefits from upgrading to a front mount intercooler on your Hilux are immediately noticed by a reduction in EGT’s, even at a standard power level with no tune.
- When tuning your Toyota Hilux N70, the use of a front mount intercooler becomes even more crucial. As your boost pressure increases with tuning, there is more heat being put through the factory intercooler, rendering it significantly ineffective.
