PDI Dual Diaphragm Brake Booster Upgrade suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 75 Series HJ75 HZJ75
A 75 Series is old enough now that its factory brake booster has done decades of work, and plenty of them are running bigger tyres, heavier loads or more power than they left the factory with. This PDI booster replaces it with a brand new dual diaphragm unit. It’s larger than the factory booster and has a higher assist ratio, so the same push on the pedal puts more force into the master cylinder.
It’s ADR tested and compliant.

- 1 x PDI dual diaphragm brake booster suitable for the HJ75 and HZJ75
🔧 Fitment Details:
- Suited to trucks running a higher GVM or GCM, larger wheels and tyres, or touring, towing and off road setups.
- With the stronger booster fitted you can set the load proportioning valve (LPV) properly, rather than relying on the LPV rod spacer that many lift kits add.
- We recommend fitting braided brake lines at the same time (75 Series braided brake lines). Line pressure goes up with this booster, and old rubber lines swell under pressure, which softens the pedal.

❓ FAQs:
Q: Does it suit the HZJ78 or HZJ79?
A: No. The HZJ and HDJ 78 and 79 Series have their own PDI booster.
Q: Do I need braided brake lines as well?
A: They aren’t required, but we recommend them. The booster raises line pressure, and original rubber lines can swell or fail after this many years on a 4WD.
