Tillix Split Pulse Merge Exhaust Manifold T3 Flange suitable for 1HD 1HZ
Tillix exhaust manifolds have been engineered to use a split pulse design that provides a significant improvement over traditional merge or log-type manifolds by keeping the exhaust pulses separated before they enter the turbine housing. The port design is square, to work with the 1HD-FT & 1HD-FTE. But will also bolt on and work flawlessly with the 1HZ and 1HD-T engines.
🛻 This exhaust manifold is suitable for
- Landcruiser 1HD-FT, 1HD-TE Engines
- Landcruiser 1HD-T/1HZ Engine with T3 Turbocharger
✅ T3 Flange: This Manifold has a ‘T3’ Turbo flange pattern, it will only bolt onto a T3 Turbocharger housing. If you have a CT26 turbo, please take a look at our 1HZ Exhaust Manifold with CT26 flange instead.
📦 What’s in the kit:
- 1 x Tillix one-piece turbo manifold, with T3 Flange
- 4x studs for turbocharger mounting and new T3 gasket.
🛠️ Fitment Details
- One-piece
- Matches ‘factory’ 1HD turbo position
- Designed to match ‘factory’ 1HD turbo position, to keep your existing dump pipe, and intercooler piping
- This version comes fitted with an external wastegate port with blanking plate if not required.
⚙️ Why Choose This Manifold
- Readily available one-piece manifold to complete your turbo setup.
- These 1H Exhaust manifolds are manufactured from SiMo ductile cast iron
- One-piece design – Eliminates sealing rings and issues caused by the factory two-piece slip joint design.
- Results: The split-pulse design delivers an increase in individual cylinder scavenging which has the effect of drawing the air out of the cylinder’s quicker, and directing the exhaust energy into the turbine of your turbocharger. This effect results in increased torque, and power across the RPM range, as well as a better response from the turbocharger.
✨ Coating
As standard the exhaust manifold will come as a raw finished product, it is not painted, however we have now added an option for HPC coating in extreme temp black.
❓ FAQs
Q: Is this suitable for turbocharging a 1HZ?
A: Yes! A huge benefit to this manifold is it’s one piece cast design. You may be looking at simply turbocharging your 1HZ, but someone has put a set of extractors on it at some point in its life. Which means you more than likely don’t have the rear piece of the exhaust manifold to join into the front ‘turbo’ section of a 1HD manifold.
