Ultima Rear Wheel Cylinder suitable for Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series
Ultima JB2797 rear wheel cylinder suitable for the rear drum Toyota LandCruiser 70 Series, from the HZJ73, HZJ75 and FZJ75 through the HZJ78, HZJ79, FZJ79, HDJ78 and HDJ79 to the V8 VDJ76, VDJ78 and VDJ79 built up to 09/2012. It has a 25.4mm (1 inch) bore and the same cylinder fits the left and the right side.
Sold each. Order two to do the axle. A weeping wheel cylinder shows up as a wet patch on the inside of the drum, a brake pedal that slowly sinks, or rear shoes that are soaked and glazed. It is a cheap part, so do both sides while the drums are off.

Q: How do I know if my 70 Series has rear drums?
A: Look behind the rear wheel. A drum is a closed steel bowl with no caliper. If you can see a flat rotor with a caliper over it, you have rear discs and need the AAP794 rear rotor and the hand brake shoes instead.
Q: Is it left or right hand?
A: Both. The same cylinder fits either side, so order two for the axle.
