Looking to tune your 4 cylinder Diesel?
The Ultra Boost ECU is a Piggyback Tuning solution developed for popular common rail vehicles, powered by the 1KD, or 4JJ1 / 4JJ3 Engines.

This is a fitted product – price includes fitting and tuning at HD Auto in Brisbane. If purchasing through the website, we will contact you to organize a book-in date.

When tuning those vehicles, we typically see a 20-30% increase in power at minimum, much more with further mods such as turbo/injector upgrades.

Ultra Boost VS Remap?
For the vehicle owner:
The advantages of using an Ultra Boost ECU over remapping your standard ECU are:
-3 Tune Options – Power, Tow/Eco, Standard
-Programmable hard cut limiter
-Mobile Phone App link.
-Tuning isn’t permanent, can be removed by unplugging ECU and installing supplied bridge plug.

For the installer:
-Real time tuning of common-rail pressure, injector duration, throttle and boost.
-Easy to tune and more capability, tuning is usually completed on the same day.

Install:
It varies by model, but the process typically involves our workshop installing the Ultraboost via wire-in or Plug In. We may also combine that with a Remap of your Factory ECU to modify existing functions, such as EGR.

Other considerations:
For manual – Upgrade to a heavy duty clutch is necessary. The factory clutch will slip with increased torque.
For Automatic – Upgrade to a heavy duty valve body is recommended, this will provide firmer shifts and help handle the extra torque.

Front mount intercooler, turbo upgrades, injector upgrades may also be recommended to reach your HP Goal.
