Developed in house with Garrett Advancing Motion and HD Auto, the Garrett PowerMax turbo suitable for the 1KD-FTV in the Toyota Hilux N70 has arrived. It is a complete, direct-fit turbocharger that bolts up in place of the factory unit and supports up to 198kW (265 BHP). Garrett’s on-dyno testing against the OEM turbo showed 38% more power and 70% more torque, from 320Nm to 550Nm.
