After many years of testing, refining and engineering we are proud to present the United Fuel Injection VDJ330 gated turbo.

Built on the success of the VDJ270 brings the VDJ330 for those looking to take their 70 Series Toyota Landcruiser to 300HP+. 

🚗 Suitable for

  • Toyota LandCruiser VDJ76, VDJ78 & VDJ79 (2007 – present, pre- & post-DPF)

  • 1VD-FTV 4.5 L V8 common-rail turbo-diesel

  • Direct bolt-on to the factory exhaust manifold, dump pipe, intake hose and intercooler piping

  • Fully bolt-on—no cutting or welding

  • Re-uses OEM oil supply with new oil return supplied; coolant lines are bypassed (turbo is oil-cooled only)

  • Suits both Dual Cab & Single-Cab 70 Series Utes and Wagons

  • Retains factory intake position meaning all aftermarket intake pipes will bolt directly up

  • Recommended extras: upgraded clutch, exhaust, intercooler & high flow injectors for builds above 300 HP

Do I need a remap?

Yes. Even at 20 psi, the ECU must be recalibrated for correct fuelling, boost limits and boost monitoring.

 

Will it work with stock injectors?

Up to ~280 HP/900 Nm, yes. Beyond that, high-flow injectors are recommended.

 

Is a bigger intercooler compulsory?

Not for 28 psi daily/towing setups, but it helps lower EGTs on 300 HP+ builds. A better intercooler, is always help even on a standard Toyota Landcruiser 70 Series.

 

How responsive is it?

This turbo will surprise you. Gated turbo’s have had a bad wrap over the years as people bolted on random sized options from this that and anything. This is a truely unique individually designed product to suit THIS exact engine. The answer is very responsive, we see peak torque at 1900rpm.

 

Water-line blanking—any downsides?

None; the turbo’s oil circuit is sufficient, and removing hot coolant from the CHRA (turbo core) reduces overall engine heat-soak.
