Q: What power can I expect from this kit on a standard 1HZ?
A: With a dyno tune on a standard injector pump, expect 120-140HP – roughly double the factory output. Adding an intercooler and a performance injector pump can push this to 160-180HP.
Q: Do I need an intercooler?
A: An intercooler is not required to run this kit on a standard injector pump, and you will still see strong power gains without one. However, if it’s in the budget, a front mount intercooler is always the better option and can be added at any time.
Q: Will I need a new clutch?
A: Yes – with the increased power output a heavy duty clutch is recommended. You can add one via the dropdown above.
Q: Does the vehicle need a tune after fitting?
A: The vehicle can be driven safely after fitting, but a dyno tune is required to unlock the full power potential of the kit.
Q: What if my 1HZ already has extractors fitted?
