High Angle Lifted CV Shaft suitable for Toyota Prado 2003–2024
Lifting a Prado on IFS introduces the same problem it does on every independent front suspension platform: standard CV shafts weren’t designed to operate at the angles a lift creates, and the result is binding, vibration, and premature joint wear. The BASCO CVA1004EXTD addresses this with a plunging centre section for increased telescopic travel and high-angle inner and outer CV joints that handle suspension extremes without complaint. Sold individually to fit either side.

❓ FAQs:
Q: Is this a direct OEM replacement or an upgrade part?
A: Upgrade. This shaft is designed to replace the standard CV shaft on lifted Prado models where OEM shafts cause binding, vibration, or premature wear at full suspension travel.
Q: Do I need one or two?
A: Sold individually. Order two if replacing both sides.
Q: Will this fit the new 250 Series Prado (GDJ251)?
A: No. This shaft suits 120 and 150 Series Prado models only. The 250 Series (GDJ251) is not compatible.
