Lift a Prado and the factory CV shafts on the independent front suspension end up running at angles they were never built for. That is where the binding, the vibration and the early joint wear come from. The Basco CVA1004EXTD has a plunging centre section for more telescopic travel, plus high angle inner and outer CV joints that cope with the extra angle a lift puts on them. Sold individually, and one shaft fits either side.

• 1x Axle nut

🛠️ Fitment details:

• Direct fit in place of the factory CV shaft on a lifted Prado with IFS
• Plunging centre section gives more telescopic travel than the factory shaft
• High angle inner and outer CV joints stop binding at full droop
• Torque the flange bolts to Toyota factory specification
• Grease and inspect the splines and hub seals before fitting
• Check for clearance and binding once fitted, then recheck after the first 200 km
