Do I need a clutch upgrade?
Yes, once tuned (even a basic remap), the factory clutch will slip. We recommend a BRC clutch rated for higher torque and horsepower.
Do I need a tune?
Absolutely. This package is designed to work in conjunction with an ECU recalibration. It will not deliver full gains without tuning.
Is this safe for touring and towing?
Yes, this is exactly what it’s built for, and what we use it for inhouse on our own vehicles. With proper tuning and supporting mods, this setup will run reliably on long hauls and loaded conditions.
